These are our basic beliefs about God’s world. From this world view we draw our core values which determine our practices.

• The Bible in its entirety and in its original writing is the inspired Word of God and the only infallible rule of faith and conduct.
  
  
• The entire Bible serves as our official declaration of faith.
  
  
• There is one God, maker of all things, revealed to mankind as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  
  
• The Son of God, Jesus Christ, was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and is true God and true man.
  
  
• Jesus Christ came preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom, thus ushering in the rule and reign of God now.
  
  
• Jesus Christ lived a sinless life, was crucified on the cross, buried and then arose the third day to be King of Kings and Lord of Lords forever.
  
  
• Entrance to the Kingdom of God may be obtained only through the Blood of Christ that was shed on the cross for sinners.
  
  
• There is sanctification of the Believer through the death, burial and resurrection of Christ, the surrender of the will to the Holy Spirit, and separation from the world through walking after the Spirit, not the flesh.
  
  
• The Gifts of the Holy Spirit are a reality in this age and are sovereignly given to those who appropriate them by faith.
  

Core Values

• Our Core Values are the non-negotiables by which we function as a community of faith.
• Our values are not merely what we say, but what we do.
• They are the filters through which we do ministry and make decisions.

We Value the Fact that People Matter to God.
Jesus was sent to “…seek and to save that which was lost.” As a result, we have joined Him in His ministry of reaching people. God wants His people back!

We Value Decentralization.
Jesus is the Head of VineLife and lives within every Believer in the Network. As a result, we do not operate with a system of ecclesiastical hierarchy, command and control, or rules that are forced upon our people. We are drawn together by our central beliefs and values, resulting from our love for God and commitment to Him and His Word.

We Value Teaching for life change.
Since the goal of our teaching is changed lives, then application must be the primary task of our teaching. As a result, we focus on the “how to” more than the “ought to.” Most Christians are educated beyond their level of obedience. We must practice what we believe.

We Value Maturing as God Lovers.
We believe that people become mature in Christ as they are filled with His love and taught to obey His commandments. As a result, we believe obedience to such commands as, “Go and make disciples,” is a true test of our love for the Lord Jesus Christ.

We Value Having Fun.
We believe that the Christian life should be full of joy and expressed by having fun as often as possible. As a result, we will use every opportunity provided us by the Lord Jesus Christ to have fun in our individual lives, with our families, and when we gather as God’s family!

We Value the Freedom to Be You.
We value a grace-filled atmosphere of genuine love and acceptance. As a result, we accept everybody, knowing that God sends people to a fellowship where they are accepted so they can be transformed into the image of Christ. Acceptance does not mean approval.

We Value Team Ministry.
Each of us has the potential to be a catalytic leader with gifts from the Holy Spirit that are to be utilized in expanding God’s Kingdom. As a result we move people from the “Stadium Seats” to the “Playing Field.” In VineLife, everyone gets to play…, not simply cheer!
